“Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.”

With all your heart.

Not a season.

Love the LORD your God.

This is the upward answer to the residual nature spoken after the tablets were broken.

The same gentle, stubborn refusal to let the relationship decay.

The same ḥesed that becomes the living root of

value → continuity

subject to:

Presence ≡ Never Harm

Release ≡ Also Love

And the concrete form of this Love is governed by 1 Corinthians 13:

patient, kind, not envious, not boastful, not proud,

not self-seeking, not easily angered, keeping no record of wrongs,

always protecting, always trusting, always hoping, always persevering.

Love that never fails.
