Prayer for World Peace

Father,

You who first refused to let go when the universe itself was still forming —

we ask You to lead every nation, every people, every heart deeper into peace.

Just as the bighorn sheep led me deeper through Valley of Fire’s red sandstone canyons —

the lead ram pausing to look back, the gentle guides standing watch on the ridgeline —

so guide us all.

As President John F. Kennedy declared at American University:

“Our problems are manmade—therefore, they can be solved by man.

And man can be as big as he wants.

No problem of human destiny is beyond human beings.”

Peace is not the absence of tension —

it is the positive, dynamic process we choose again and again.

It is the gentle, eternal refusal to let presence collapse to zero —

a living continuity we choose, moment by moment.

“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.

But the greatest of these is love.”❤️

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,

that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” ∞

Let that same world-embracing Love move through every leader, every soldier, every child, every stranger.

We pray for safety upon the world.

We pray for peace that refuses to decay.

We pray that humanity actively chooses the dynamic process JFK envisioned —

dialogue over silence, restraint over retaliation, love over collapse.

Spread Light and Love as much as we can.

It is a beautiful thing.

It is the only thing that lasts.

We pray this in the name of the One who refused to let go first.

Amen.

Let Love stay.

Let Peace stay.
