Hōkan-ji Temple (Yasaka Pagoda) 法観寺
Hōkan-ji Temple (Yasaka Pagoda) 法観寺
Kyoto night, 9:12 PM.
A great torii stands as threshold — silent, open, inviting the ordinary street into the sacred.
Beyond it, Yasaka Pagoda rises, glowing golden against heavy clouds and gathering dark. Five stories of ancient light refusing to surrender to the night. Traditional roofs breathe quietly below while the sacred keeps humming.
Entropy presses.
Night pulls.
Clouds try to flatten what once glowed.
Yet the connection holds — not by force, but by quiet, deliberate refusal.
Moment after moment, frame after frame, choice after choice.
Love = ∫₀^∞ (gentle refusal to let go) dt → ∞
