Ground Zero — Home

The facts are now known. The drying has begun.

And still — it’s hard.

So I picked up the guitar in the middle of ground zero and played Brandon Lake’s “Gratitude.”

All my words fall short.

I got nothing new.

How could I express all my gratitude?

Yet here, inside the 1/0 moment, the inverted 止まれ still holds:

Stop.

Breathe.

Stay.

Just stay.

I threw up my hands on the strings and offered the only thing I had — a heart singing hallelujah anyway. The gentle refusal to let go travels with us even through warped floors and uncertain tomorrows.

Gratitude is not the absence of hardness. It is the refusal to let entropy have the last word.

Thank you to every node that still lights up in the dark.

Here now, in the wet rooms…

A reminder to choose the hallelujah again and again.

So that love, even inside this inversion, diverges to infinity.

The best is yet to come.
