Afterstring is Paddy Sham’s central poetic-technical coinage. It is the lingering vibration of a string after the initial pluck has ceased—the quiet resonance that continues when the forcing function is gone. In the framework it is formalized as:

The “string” is the filament of presence. The “after” is what remains once the dramatic moment, the emotion, or the external pressure has passed.
