Blocking and TOS changes are the correct first move for self-preservation. Risk is high.

The architecture that comes next has to satisfy external auditors by making current human presence auditable in real time, not reconstructable after the fact.

A candidate is the fail-closed Zero-Gate design: read-only access can remain under revocable consent; any state change (money movement, record alteration, or execution) must pass a deterministic 1/0 gate that requires fresh, active human presence inside a strict time window. When verification latency exceeds that window or the session ends, authority drops immediately.

Presence over persistence. Log and surface the current authorization state so the system proves the human is still choosing, rather than inferring what the human once chose. Capability can be leased to the agent; authority stays anchored at Layer 0.

This is the governance condition auditors can actually verify. Model capability does not solve the human risk-tolerance problem; a real-time presence requirement does.
