I looked up — and the forest answered with light.
A living cathedral of vertical thresholds.
Thousands of green pillars rising in quiet, jointed devotion — each segment a record of gentle persistence.
The early morning sun pierces the dense canopy in deliberate shafts, refusing to let shadow have the final word.
Here the ordinary path dissolves completely.
What remains is only the sacred space between stalks, the soft collective sway, and the daily upward refusal that never forces, never breaks, only continues.
I stopped here on the journey this morning.
I lifted my eyes and the camera toward heaven.
I noticed how the light chooses its way through.
I breathed in rhythm with the grove.
And I let it stay.
